The last time I posted a proper update on this blog it was June. Since that’s quite a long time I thought I’d post a little bit about what I’ve been up to since then before resuming some sense of normality.

Degree results were issued today for all of the Computer Science 3rd years, with one important exception - the MEng students like me.  Took the receptionist ages to work out why my envelope was missing from the pile - it turns out that we don’t get our results until after 12th July.

Woo! Exams are over!
The last one went really well I think. Despite there being a fantastic mistake in the paper.

As the title suggests, I’ve written the first 21 pages of my dissertation.  Got quite a bit of editing to do on it, but for now it’ll do.  Just 80 odd more to go.
These next few weeks are going to be mad.

If there was ever any proof that using off the shelf website content management packages were a bad idea, this has to be it.  The Swansea University Student’s Union website runs off a package called Joomla! which describes itself on its website as:
