Another month over already?!
Mar 1st by Dafydd VaughanWell, this last month has gone surprisingly fast! With only 3 weeks left before our easter holiday, this whole term has gone surprisingly fast. It doesn’t help that we have had so much work on recently. We had graphics coursework due in last friday, this friday we have Maude and Compilers, next tuesday we have a group project report and next friday we have Computability Theory. So its all really really busy. On top of that, James and I have taken over the hosting and running of the Swansea Uni, Computer Science Student Forum (CSSF).
This week has been pretty much non-stop. Ian and I went out on Monday night for Ceri’s birthday. We started off in Lava Lounge before heading to Revolutions and finally Time. I maybe (definitely) drunk a little too much. Even so, it was a really good night, and it was good to see Jo J, Alice, Jonathan, Gavin and Jo H again (flat mates last year). Photos of our night out can be found in the media section of my site (or by clicking here).
After our night out, i woke up for my 10am tutorial on Tuesday feeling really rough, and just went back to bed (sorry guys, will be there next Tuesday… promise). I finally made it in for my last lecture of the day (at 4PM!!!).
Wednesday was pretty eventful as well. For the second time in 3 months, we had SNOW! This is Swansea we are talking about… no snow ever! And now we’ve had snow twice in 3 months. Something is going on here! As with Ceri’s birthday, photos of various snowy things can be found in the media section (or here).
From talking to my parents, things seem to be progressing with the extension on the house; dispite suffering another set back (not really any point in going into details). If you fancy seeing any photos, theres a few from sometime last week in the media section (or here).
Right, thats it for now. Time to actually get on with some work.
Till next time
